Synopsis
German actor Frederick Lau, known for his roles in "Testo" and "The Wave," will star in Netflix's upcoming German thriller series "Crooks." The show is based on the 2012 Japanese-American original net anime (ONA) series of the same name, which in turn is based on the 2012 comic book series by Mark Millar and Leinil Francis Yu.
Premise
"Crooks" follows a group of retired supervillains who are forced to reunite to steal a priceless coin that is being targeted by rival gangs across Europe. The series will explore themes of morality, greed, and the consequences of one's past actions.
