ICC Profiles for Users

Windows 10 Installation

Users can install ICC profiles in Windows 10 by right-clicking on the profile and selecting "Install Profile." Alternatively, the file can be copied to the following directory:

C:\Windows\System32\spool\drivers\color

File Types and Standards

Profiles are available in both ICC and ICM formats. ICC stands for International Color Consortium and originated at Apple, while ICM stands for Image Color Matching. In color management, an ICC profile is a set of data that characterizes a color input or output device or a color space according to standards promulgated by the ICC.
