Ferris Wheel Fire at German Music Festival Injures 30
Thirty people were injured when a Ferris wheel caught fire at a music festival near Leipzig, Germany.
Witnesses reported seeing flames and smoke coming from the ride at around 10:30 p.m. on Saturday. The fire quickly spread, engulfing the entire ride in flames.
Emergency services were quickly on the scene and were able to evacuate the ride.
The injured were taken to local hospitals for treatment. Most of the injuries were minor, but some people were more seriously injured.
