The deadline to register to vote in New Jersey for the General Election on November 8, 2023, is Tuesday, October 18, 2023. Residents who are not yet registered to vote can do so in person at their county clerk's office or online at the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission (MVC) website.
Who is Eligible to Vote in New Jersey?

How to Register to Vote in New Jersey
There are three ways to register to vote in New Jersey:

- Online: You can register to vote online at the New Jersey MVC website. You will need to provide your name, address, and date of birth. You will also need to have a New Jersey driver's license or ID card.

What Happens if I Miss the Registration Deadline?
If you miss the registration deadline, you will not be able to vote in the General Election on November 8, 2023. However, you will still be able to register to vote in future elections.
