Fremantle Dockers facing Adelaide Crows in Round 3

Saturday 6:10pm, Optus Stadium

Match details

West Coast Eagles v St Kilda West Coast Eagles v North Melbourne

“I’ve probably never been that nervous,” Kiara Bowers told ABC Radio Perth.

Bowers was speaking ahead of her 50th AFLW match in the milestone clash between Fremantle and Adelaide at Optus Stadium on Saturday.

The Dockers are coming off a 44-point win over North Melbourne in round two, while the Crows lost to the Western Bulldogs by 31 points.

Bowers said she was excited to reach the milestone, but admitted to being a little nervous.

“It’s a bit surreal to think that I’ve played 50 games already,” she said.

“I’m just really grateful for the opportunity to play at this level and I’m looking forward to what the future holds.”

The Dockers will be without star forward Gabby O’Sullivan, who is serving a one-match suspension for rough conduct.

But they will be boosted by the return of Kiara Bowers, who missed the win over North Melbourne with a calf injury.

The Crows will be without injured co-captain Chelsea Randall, but they will welcome back Sarah Perkins from suspension.

The match is expected to be a close contest, with both teams looking to improve their records to 2-1.
